Strawberry Mousse
Light and effortlessly satisfying — a simple way to enjoy something sweet while adding protein to your day.
Serves: 1 / Prep time: 6 minutes / Chill: 1 hour (or overnight)
Ingredients:
Mousse Base
- 1 cup quark (or ricotta)
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 2 scoops Nuzest Glowing All Over
- 1 tbsp melted coconut butter or almond butter
- 1–2 tbsp melted coconut butter or 20g dark chocolate (70% cacao or higher)
- 1 tsp dried berries
- 1 tsp desiccated coconut
Method:
- Combine the quark (or ricotta), strawberries, melted coconut butter (or almond butter) and Glowing All Over powder.
- Blend on high for about 1 minute, using your tamper to help ingredients combine and scraping down the sides as needed. The mixture should be thick and mousse-like (thicker than a smoothie).
- Transfer to a glass jar or serving dish. Drizzle with melted coconut butter (or dark chocolate) and sprinkle with dried berries and desiccated coconut.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up before serving.
Notes:
- Blend for no longer than 1½ minutes — over-blending can loosen the texture.
- For a vegan option, swap the quark or ricotta for silken tofu. You may wish to add a little maple syrup and a splash of nut milk to adjust sweetness and texture.
